“Are You Worthy of Trust” is an article written by leadership consultant Dennis Hooper. I’ve used this piece as a guiding principle to measure myself: Am I worthy of trust to earn your business?
Dennis highlights 3 areas of people skillsets:
- Confidence
- Honorable motives
- Commitment
Confidence
I have sought feedback from colleagues, and received good responses, regarding my level of confidence. That goes for Debra, Donna and myself. We like to think of ourselves as confident, but at the same time we are always looking to grow, learn and develop. We are not only confident technically, but we also understand people – which leads us to the next level, honorable motives.
Honorable Motives
At Strategic Wealth Advisor Network (SWAN), our honorable motives are manifested in our pursuit of happy customers, happy clients, happy people, and people we enjoy doing business with. We have a motto: “It’s not business, it’s personal.” We take the business very personally, and try to create the best client relationships possible. Once again, I think we rate fairly well in the area of honorable motives.
Commitment
We are definitely committed. 100% of the time, we demonstrate commitment to our clients by being responsive, available, and going the extra mile to do whatever we can to help our clients with their business.
The greatest compliment that any client can give us is a referral. We are confident, we are honorable, and we are committed. We hope that we’ll have a chance to meet new people through the goodwill of those that we currently serve. Hopefully we can earn their business as we have earned yours. Thank you.
